Gutters should be inspected for any damage or leaks. Any debris that may have accumulated over the winter should be cleaned out in order to insure proper flow of water off the roof and away from the house. Downspouts and extensions should be in place and should direct the water at least 5-6 feet away from the foundation. Once again, caution should be used when inspecting and cleaning the gutters. If you are in doubt hire a professional.
